  1. If you guys despise the ribbon so much because you can’t customize it or you want the ancient style back, then get the RibbonCustomizer add-on.

  2. DUH DUNNNNN!!!!! The Task PAIN(Pane) IN MY ASS

  3. I am not too fond of it. I like the visual layout, but it removes the basic visual interface we are use to.

Jensen Harris, If you’re responsible for the ribbon I hope you get anal cancer.

  5. Yea that’s right. But it’s not that hard anyway and if the quick-access toolbar just don’t do it for you, you might seriously want to learn how to to it ;-)

  6. Of course I already know this. It’s inconvenient and excludes the non-programmer whose only purpose is productivity with the Office tools.

  7. Just learn how XML work, edit the main template and add custom categories…….

  8. Give me back my custom toolbars!

  9. Office 2007 just wonderful !!
I had cultural shock first time launched it. (in excellent sence)

  10. MS Word is nonsense…
    LaTeX rules!

  11. Hehe, even Microsoft diss the Clippy, that’s amusing :)

  12. Yes, it was annoying and frustrating to learn where things were but I like it much better. It was certainly an improvement.

  13. Honestly, I found the ribbon confusing & a step backwards. It made doing the things I knew how to do irrelevant and set me back to ground zero for nearly all tasks. All without any benefit to me, the user.

  14. Because this is so mind-blowingly stupid.

  15. Why are there no comments?
